Rotary New Generations Service Exchange (NGSE)

The New Generations Service Exchange (NGSE) program aims to foster leadership skills and cultural understanding among young adults aged 18 to 30. Through international exchanges, participants engage in service projects or career opportunities that promote community development and create lasting connections.

Service Impact: Contribute to meaningful projects that benefit communities in need.

How to apply:

Benefits:

Eligibility: Age 18-30 years old.

Timeline: 3 weeks to 3 months

Activities: The program can range from job shadows, service projects, internships, and more!

Costs: Participant costs include: round trip airfare, district fee ($500), host country accommodation, insurance, spending money (program is unpaid).

How to apply:

  1. Where to start: Candidates contact local Rotary club or district to indicate their interests.
  2. Apply: Fill out an application and submit it to the district with your resume, cover letter, 2 letters of recommendation, and 3 references (2 can be from letters of recommendation). 
  3. Interview: Candidates are interviewed to better understand qualifications and objectives.
  4. Matching: Rotary clubs work together to match candidates with suitable host clubs and projects.
