Who is here to support you in your Exchange. What do you need to bring? 1. Yo ur $900.00 District Fee\, Make checks payable to Rotary Youth Exchange-Di strict 5050. 2. Your Navy Blazer (see information below) 3. Your paren ts\,siblings and Rotary Club representatives are welcome 4. Bring your qu estions! 5. Please bring a salad or dessert to share (will will be servin g Baked Chicken and Macaroni and Cheese for lunch) 5. Please arrive on ti me. What can you expect of the day? 1. You will be expected to introduce yourself to the group and tell a little bit about yourself. 2. If you do not know the country you are going\, you will learn it at Orientation. 3. You will connect with the other students that will be on exchange at the same time. 4. There will be time to answer your individual questions. 5 . We will have a couple of former exchange students available to answer q uestions. Schedule: We will start at 10:30 with Lunch at 12:30\, and end at 5pm. It is a smaller white building- the parking lot is adjacent to the Pa rish Hall. Church will be in session\, so you may need to park in the ne ighborhood around the church. Driving Directions: From the NORTH on I-5: Take the LAKEWAY DRIVE exit #253. At the traffic light\, turn RIGHT onto LAKEWAY DRIVE. Continue on LAKEWAY DRIVE to the second light. The road wi ll bend slightly to the right and change to HOLLY STREET. Proceed on Holl y (roughly 20 blocks) directly to St. Paul's. Turn just past the light\, onto Walnut. Our parking lot is across from the church on Walnut\, and th ere is ample street parking in the area. Navy Blazer: Can be any brand n avy blazer ( Lands End has a good selection for both men and women\,sizes and often have a 25%-50% off coupon specials\, but also check your local second hand shop- I am always finding good ones at consignment and goodw ill. Students will wear their blazers to most all Rotary events and whil e they travel. The blazers will also hold all of the pins that students c ollect on their travels. You will need your blazer at orientation\, so g ood to order/purchase soon!
